Expectations & FAQs

FAQs

What time do you start?

We start at either 9am or 1pm, depending on the time you register for. We recommend you try to arrive 15 minutes early so we can stay on time for the day!

How do I get there?

We strongly recommend checking a map and triple checking your GPS. It is often difficult to navigate to our facility.

178 Miller Rd
Dalton, NH 03561.

You will see the Team O’Neil Rally School sign. Drive in and park at the barn building and come up to the second floor.

Do I need to have my own car?

Currently yes you need to bring your own car. We are working to have more products available where you can drive a vehicle we supply.

Should I bring food?

Yes you should bring your own food and snacks. Ideally you should eat before arrival. Water will be available on site if needed.

What should I wear?

We recommend comfortable clothing such as jeans, and shoes that will work well for driving and feeling the pedals (not large boots). Remember we are on dirt surfaces, wear shoes that you know may get dirty or muddy. Wear multiple layers, temperatures in northern New Hampshire change through the day. A pair of work gloves is good to have on hand as well.

Do I need tools?

No, the trails are designed to get the most out of a stock vehicle. Tire punctures are the most likely damage and to ensure you can get back to a town with a tire store it is recommended to have a tire repair kit or “Fix-a-flat” made for truck tires.

Is there a minimum age for drivers?

We require our drivers to have valid driver's licenses.

Can I bring a guest to ride along?

Yes you can! In addition to drivers all guests must sign a waiver and have a fully functional seat belt. Guests must meet NHSB requirements to safely ride along. (Younger kids with size and weight restrictions must be in proper car seats/booster seats)

What happens if I get stuck?

While we try to not have you in a situation that requires recovery, our team does have a winch vehicle and will assist in getting you unstuck.

Any damage that may occur to your vehicle at any time on Team O’Neil property will be your responsibility including during a recovery.

Do you provide lodging?

Team O’Neil does not provide lodging for students.  We work with several local properties that we recommend.

Should I bring a GoPro or camera?

Yes, we recommend both. GoPros or other recording devices can capture learning moments for you to reference later. We also have scenic locations that are great for photo opportunities.
